  5. I would really like to read the original article of this findings.

    1. Most of the people eating too fast are obese. (most = how many percent? 51%?) and how many percent of people who eat slower are obese? Is there a significant difference between this two groups?
    2. Eating slow can lose weight <-- is there a proper study? as in, asking a person who is already obese to eat slowly and see does he lose weight?
    3. How did they define eating slowly and 做好了規規矩矩吃飯? If I don't have this basic definition, how am i going to 'practice' whatever the finding of the study (assuming it is true... although i doubt it...)

Well, one of the things that i notice (through experience rather) is that when people eat too slow, they eat less. Reason? No idea. Perhaps because there is a limited amount of time one can spend on eating, so they don't want to spend a time too long, thus eat less? Or may be they chew until their mouth is tired..

Anyway, if you chew too many times or too long before you swallow, it becomes difficult to swallow.

有機會可以看這本書:范丹伯著,石世明譯《病床邊的溫柔》Psychology of the Sickbed by J.H. van den Berg。

How are you?
