I passed by this HDB flat at ground floor when I strolling with my wife and there was always no one at home. The corridor outside the unit often filled with paper boxes, cans, plastic bottles, and other old items.
Sometimes, there are dark stains on the ground. I presume this is the accumulation of stains which spraying out while flattening the cans.
The corridor considered clean at the day of shooting this photo. However, whenever I thought of the life of this household compared with the general households in Singapore, I was lost in reverie.

My photos selected by organiser of eye e city 2010 was censored by exhibition partner, Singapore Discovery Centre (SDC), during the exhibition. Is the photos political incorrect ???
I always feel proud of these people who still choose to work hard and earn a living. This is an alternative view Singapore and Singaporean could have besides thinking they are poor and pitiful ones.
Luckily, it was still in the photo book published by eye e city. Hope the book will not censored and removed from NLB library. :)
